About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Copywriter to join our global Copy Team at DEPT. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality marketing copy that showcases our clients' voice and furthers their brand story.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients' CRM and Paid social marketing campaigns.
  • Write content for various channels, including social media, email, and websites.
  • Provide clear, effective feedback to ensure high-quality content.
  • Give directional brand and tone of voice guidance to ensure consistency across all marketing materials.
  • Establish and uphold copy standards to ensure excellence in all content.
  • Research competitors and trends for creative inspiration and to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Facilitate creative brainstorms and meetings to drive innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Exhibit leadership and professionalism in all interactions with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Experience as a copywriter is a must, with a background in agency or brand preferred.
  • Experience editing content and giving feedback is necessary.
  • Experience in the e-commerce/transportation technology industry is a plus.
  • Experience delivering and receiving feedback in English is necessary.
  • Translation and/or transcreation experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy and brand development is a big plus.
  • Understanding of social media content best practices and trends is preferred.
  • Ability to deliver compelling marketing and content copy that sells is essential.
  • Confidence working with other departments and stakeholders, such as designers, developers, and clients, is essential.
  • Readiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assets.
  • An understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journey.
  • Ability to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiastically.
  • A collaborative approach to getting things done.
