This role is part of our Personalised Communication team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more 

JOB PURPOSE:

At DEPT®, we are always on the lookout for new talent. Whether you’re looking to kick start your Copy career, or are a seasoned Copywriter with mentoring/management experience, we would love to hear from you.

As a Copywriter, you will join our global Copy Team made up of 60 people around the world. You will write for all digital channels, providing on-brand website copy that drives clicks and engagement.

You will work across different digital channels, developing concepts and providing creative and innovative copy that drives clicks and engagement. Working closely with the Senior Copywriter and our creative team, you’ll find yourself challenged to go beyond your comfort zone. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients onsite marketingDevelop creative ideas and concepts across various channels where applicableAdhere to clients' tone of voice and brand guidelines Research competitors and trends for creative inspirationCollaborate with design and account managementContribute to team creative brainstorms

We’re open to the see different levels of experience across different sectorsAgency experience is a plusExperience in the e-commerce/retail environment is a plusIn-depth knowledge of multi-channel digital copy and brand development, especially a background in social media content and copywritingAbility to write compelling marketing and content copy that sellsConfidence in working with other departments and stakeholders such as designers, developers, and clientsReadiness to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assetsAn understanding of the importance of consistency across different touchpoints of a user journeyAbility to present work to large groups and communicate ideas clearly and enthusiasticallyA collaborative approach to getting things done
