An opportunity has arisen for a part time ( hrs per week) Screening Pathway Administrator to join the Administration/Telephone Helpline team based at our centre in Llantrisant on a fixed term until 31st March 2025.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of the helpline team responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the Bowel Screening Programme and the Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Screening Programme in Wales. They will be responsible for providing essential administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the call/recall and failsafe functions of both programmes.
This is a busy and varied role, which requires the ability to deal with a wide range of stakeholders, tasks and deadlines. There is a requirement to organise, prioritise and plan your workload in order to achieve your objectives. Team working is essential for this role along with excellent telephone skills and a high level of accuracy when entering participant pathway information and data.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is responsible for answering BSW and WAAASP helpline queries along with working in an administrative capacity supporting the efficient operation of call/ recall and failsafe functions within the Screening Division.
The post holder will be required to answer queries from the helpline whilst operating the information system to accurately process invitations, appointments and results in line with programme policies and procedures.

Essential
Minimum 5 GCSEs including English (A*-C grades) or equivalent level of qualification or experience NVQ level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Care or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and experience with a willingness to work towards a diploma in screening

Relevant admin qualifications or IT equivalent
Knowldge and Experience
