We're looking for a Project Manager (Logistics Manager) to join our KierBAM team based in Plymouth/Devonport.
Location: Plymouth/Devonport
Contract: Permanent, full-time
What will you be responsible for?
As a Project Manager (Logistics Manager), you'll be working within the KierBAM team, supporting them in delivering successful project outcomes through effective logistics management.
What will your day to day in your role look like?
Your day-to-day will include:
- Developing and implementing logistics strategies to streamline operations and meet company objectives.
- Managing inventory levels, optimizing stock, and ensuring the timely transportation of materials to site.
- Overseeing warehouse operations, including layout optimization and efficient order fulfillment.
- Supporting the implementation and monitoring of Health, Safety & Environmental policies and project procedures.
- Leading, supervising, and mentoring your team, ensuring quality delivery through effective planning and right-first-time execution.
What are we looking for?
This role of Project Manager (Logistics Manager) is great for you if:
- You have a relevant qualification (Degree, HND/HNC, NVQ) in Construction, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- You possess experience in logistics management or a related role, with strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain best practices.
- You are proficient in logistics software and systems, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- You have experience with CSCS Level (Academically or Professionally Qualified Person/Manager) and CITB Manager and Professionals as a minimum for site operations.
