We have an open position for a Business Development Assistant to join our client’s fast-growing team in Colchester. The candidate will be responsible for supporting our clients in implementing sales, marketing, and promotions activities. We are looking for someone who can take the initiative, help build global brands, and is highly skilled in sales and business operations. 

 

As a part of the team, this person will inspire a group of go-getters to achieve the company vision. Even though this is an entry-level position, They will provide full training. However, if the candidate has previous experience in Sales, Marketing, and Business Development roles, it will be considered an added advantage.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies, and facilitate pitch logistics
  • Develop and implement outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Negotiate sales deals and review proposals
  • Identify emerging trends and potential areas of growth
     

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Keen attention to detail, able to make key decisions and plan strategy based on existing data and forecasting
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
  • Experience in sales techniques
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to plan and manage resources

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

  • Manage existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities
  • Identify customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks to achieve strategic goals
  • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
