A highly successful Multi Academy Trust is seeking an exceptional Teacher of Maths to join their dynamic and dedicated team at a secondary school in Darwen. This permanent position is available from September and offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate and high-achieving individual to make a significant impact on students' academic progress and love for mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in Maths to students across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the diverse needs of all learners.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and success.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Maths department and the wider school community.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and subject knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience in teaching Maths at the secondary school level.
  • A strong track record of achieving excellent student outcomes.
  • Exceptional subject knowledge and a passion for Maths education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to the ethos and values of the Multi Academy Trust.
  • Willingness to contribute to extra-curricular activities and the broader life of the school.
