About the role
As a Building Recovery in Communities Coordinator (BRIC), you will work as part of a team to provide collaborative recovery planning and case management to people who have a history of using drugs and alcohol across all stages of individuals recovery journey, promoting positive and sustainable recovery and connections.
You will play a pivotal role in engaging with service users, partner agencies, and individuals with lived experience of substance use. Your primary focus will be to manage peer mentors and peer representatives to deliver initiatives that establish visible recovery and increase opportunities for service users to achieve sustainable outcomes within communities.
Drawing on your background and expertise, you will actively engage with our service users, encouraging and supporting them to shape the service, identify additional support services, and develop activities in their local community. This role provides autonomy to generate ideas and implement agreed changes to services.
