As our Finance Assistant, you will be an integral member of the finance team, responsible for managing the Purchase Ledger, Cash Books, and Credit Control. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining financial systems, processing transactions, and ensuring our records are accurate. You will liaise with clients to ensure smooth payment processes and support our wider team with administrative tasks, all while striving for excellence in financial management.

Finance Assistant Requirements:

  • Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills to meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to interpret large volumes of data.
  • Flexibility to assist across various finance functions as required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar finance role, reconciliations, and cash postings.

Heat networks are a key part of the government’s net zero carbon targets as they distribute heat or cooling from a central source to multiple customers.
