We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join the Primary Care team at HMP YOI Brinsford, a Category B/C adult male prison, and Young Offenders prison, based 5 miles outside of Wolverhampton in Featherstone.

This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. HMP YOI Brinsford has an operational capacity of around 560 inmates, and shares a site with other prisons, and is just outside of Wolverhampton. Hours: This is a full time role, hours per week, and you will work on rotational shifts Salary: This position is full time , youll receive an annual salary up to £28,690 per annum - depending on experience. Main duties of the job

As our new Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. Some of your duties will include:

Provide outstanding quality based care to all patients Deliver personalised, non judgemental care, based on patient feedback Contribute to, and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics Support the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care on the wings and healthcare centres
