We are looking for experienced and committed Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.

You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

**Meet our service user**

Our service user is a gentleman in his 50’s who lives with his family in Wednesfield. He requires support with his complex care needs on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and a 1:1 basis throughout the night.

He shows a big passion for photography, mountain biking and thrives on outdoor adventures. A key aspect of this role will be ensuring his safety and well-being during all outings, fostering a positive, and encouraging environment.

Throughout the day you will be required to assist him to enjoy his hobbies, interests and accessing his social activities, as well as meeting his clinical care needs, and supporting with his personal care and moving and handling requirements.

Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care needs, repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful night’s sleep.

**We are looking for staff who are pet friendly as our service user does have a family pet dog.**

**Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.**

**To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following**:

- 3 months' previous care experience
- Medication Administration
- Personal Care
- Moving and Handling
- Spinal Injury Management
- Tracheostomy Care
- Pet Friendly

**Experience working with the following clinical needs is desirable, however is not essential to be considered for this role**:

- Ventilation management
- Catheter care

**Shifts Available**
- Part Time 2 shifts per week
- Days: 7am - 7pm & 9am - 10pm
- Nights: 9pm - 9am

**Take a look at our pay rates**

Weekdays: £14.00 per hour (£182 approx. per 13-hour shift)

Weeknights: £14.50 per hour (£174 approx. per 12-hour shift)

Saturday: £15.00 per hour (£195.00 approx. per 13-hour shift)

Sunday: £15.00 per hour (£195.00 approx. per 13-hour shift)

Bank Holiday: £16.00 per hour (£208.00 approx. per 13 hour shift)
