About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care and support to service users, including assistance with daily living tasks and medication administration.
  • Assisting with mobility and handling, ensuring the safe transfer and movement of service users.
  • Supporting service users with their social and emotional needs, promoting independence and dignity.
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement individual care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for service users.

Requirements

  • 3 months previous care experience, with a focus on complex care and support.
  • Medication administration and personal care skills, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
  • Ability to work independently, with a strong sense of initiative and a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality care and support.
