Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our service users in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support to service users, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assisting with medication administration and monitoring
  • Supporting with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and household chores
  • Engaging with service users in activities they enjoy, such as outings and hobbies
  • Working collaboratively with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery

Requirements:

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently

  • Spinal Injury Care

  • Epilepsy Care & Seizure Management
  • Rescue Medication

Working Hours:

  • Part Time Days – Shifts between 7am - 10pm
  • Part Time Nights - Shifts between 8pm - 9am

Pay and Benefits:

Our pay rates start from £13.50 per hour (approx. £162 per 12-hour shift). We offer a comprehensive training program, a supportive and friendly working environment, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our service users.
