Job Title: Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of students with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students with personal care, including toileting, changing, and feeding.
  • Support students with mobility needs, including the use of hoists and other equipment.
  • Monitor and attend to medical needs, such as tube feeding and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with teachers and therapists to support learning and development goals.
  • Provide emotional support and build positive relationships with students to foster a safe and happy learning environment.
  • Ensure that safeguarding and health and safety standards are maintained at all times.

Requirements:

  • A caring and patient approach.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Flexibility and resilience in a dynamic environment.
