Job Title: Care Assistants

We are seeking dedicated professionals to join our team and provide exceptional in-home care to children with complex healthcare needs in Wolverhampton and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a Care Assistant with Apollo Home Healthcare Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering critical tracheostomy care to children, including suctioning, cleaning of the stoma, and tube changes. You will work closely with our team to provide high-quality, complex care services in the homes of our service users.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver tracheostomy care to children, including suctioning, cleaning of the stoma, and tube changes
  • Work closely with our team to provide high-quality, complex care services in the homes of our service users
  • Administer medication and provide personal care as required
  • Move and handle service users safely and with dignity
  • Communicate effectively with service users, families, and healthcare professionals
Requirements:
  • Over 3 months of hands-on experience in providing tracheostomy care
  • Medication administration
  • Personal care
  • Moving and handling
  • Proven expertise in tracheostomy care
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently
