The Head of Strategic Change will be responsible for leading a team of project management professionals to effectively deliver all key strategic operational and organizational projects to support our Transformation agenda. In addition, the Head of Strategic Change is responsible for leading a team of change management professionals to effectively land our key programmes across the transformation portfolio through leading change management activities. 
 

Role overview:

As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for:

• Responsible for the successful delivery of all strategic, organisational and operational programmes within the Currys portfolio
• Recruit (where required), resource, lead and coach a team of Project and Programme Managers, ensuring all projects are managed to best practice project management practices throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Partner with business leaders in a consulting capacity to scope business ideas into new programmes of work aligned to portfolio and 3 year planning
• Work closely with the Portfolio team to effectively manage within the Strategic Change team covering items such as reporting, resourcing, risks and issues management and funding requests / budget management. 
• Provide effective problem solving and resolution for both strategic and tactical business initiatives
• Lead the go-to team for the business to turn to when there are high priority and complex issues to resolve.
• Responsible for the successful delivery of all change management activities across the Currys transformation portfolio
• Lead and coach a team of Change Managers, ensuring all projects are managed to best practice change management practices throughout the delivery lifecycle
• Responsible for the business change workstreams across our key transformation projects, ensuring all aspects of change are effectively analysed, planned and implemented to ensure our successful launch and acceptance into BAU of new systems and processes
 

The chosen individual must have a passion for Retail and Technology and be experienced at leading change in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

You will need:

• Must have senior level stakeholder experience and be comfortable working with significant project teams and third parties, as well as the ability to dive into the detail when required
• Significant experience in a similar role previously i.e. delivery and change
• Change management – theoretical and practical
• Project scoping, planning, governance, and delivery
• Risk and issue management
• Stakeholder management
