About the pub

The Bridge is a cosy country pub nestled at the base of the Peak district. Perfectly situated on the outskirts of the Village of Duffield, just off the main A6 road, the pub attracts a mix of regular guests and also visitors to the area, and is a regular stop off place for walkers & cyclists.

With a one room operation, the Bridge has well defined drink and dining areas indoors. Outside there is an extensive river side outdoor patio that makes it a summertime destination site for guests to drink and dine by the river. A true idyllic country pub And for those colder winter months there's a real fire place for guests to enjoy.The pub has established weekly activity, which includes quizzes, live music, and community events, but there is scope to grow these further.  The bridge is currently averaging £22,500 a week in sales with a 60/40 to food sales mix. We are looking for someone who is team focused and has the ability to identify local trends and adapt to them. A food led operator with previous experience in the premium dining marketplace, with the ability to take the Bridge to the next level.
