Forseven, a revolutionary company is looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, are seeking a Data Coordinator join our highly skilled and Engineering Operations team.

The role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of our offices in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Reporting to the Design Office Data Manager, you will be responsible for working with the Company’s Design, Engineering and Technical Procurement functions to ensure the data is accurate with regards to part specification, source codes, weight, quantity, and all other attributes (metadata).

What you will do:

  • Carry out day to day data transfer activity when requested by the engineering.
  • Liaising with the IT, Security and function groups to align with the CAD data to be transferred to the Suppliers and other partners.
  • Checking for the quality and format of the data before the transfer.
  • Making sure that right people have got access to the right CAD data folders in Sharepoint and Collaborative spaces in PLM.
  • Keeping a track of the important freeze and release dates and when the CAD data is required to be sent to the suppliers.
  • Reviewing the CAD data and feedback to the team/s if any such feedback received from the suppliers.
  • Creating a process flow for data transfer or review and update the existing one if any changes happen to the flow.
  • Keeping the function groups and other teams informed on a regular basis about the data transfer status.
  • Liaising with the Data management and BoM management team in case of any data quality, missing data, or missing attributes recorded by the suppliers, and feedback to the suppliers with the right level/quality data.

Who you are:

  • Display evident data coordination experience within the automotive/manufacturing industry
  • Good understanding of data management process
  • A good working knowledge of whole vehicle design data is essential.
  • PLM Data management experience is a must.
  • ·Knowledge of 3D Experience (PLM) systems.
  • Proven success in applying design standards in automotive or other applicable industries.
  • Experience of coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.  
  • Relevant experience in Data Management and document management.
