In return we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:
We are brand new supported living service located in the lovely quite neighbourhood of Banbury. The people we support are involved in the recruitment process and therefore want you to know a little more about what they are looking for in you
We are all different ages between 30– 65 years. We have different challenges in our lives which include epilepsy, autism and learning disabilities. We have a staff team who are all trained and familiar with supporting someone with similar needs. We support a small number of people in who stay in their separate rooms within the bungalows, we also have another small number of people that will be sharing a four bedroomed Bungalow on the same site. We currently have a few people that we support who have moved in in the separate bungalows and we are looking forward to having the other people we support move in.
Our Support Workers thrive in making a difference to our life by having compassion and committing themselves, these are exciting times for us as we are beginning this journey together.
All of us are mobile and we love going out and about and experience the good things and activities offered by Banbury.
We need someone who will try and get to know us and understand our wishes and desires, to be patient, respectful, to be understanding, to have a sense of humour, to enjoy similar activities as we do.We want someone who is confident in what they do, can ask us questions, and allow us to also ask questions. We want new ideas that we can try out.
