What to expect

With our Network Provision team continually looking for new people to become a franchised Postmaster, our Business Support Managers play a vital role in assessing the suitability of all new Postmasters. Key to the role will be ensuring Post Office is right for a potential new Postmaster both personally and commercially to ensure the best partnerships can be formed that serve the community.


You will support all new Postmasters through their early days, guiding them through a continuous improvement model whilst being at the forefront of the onboarding journey. You will support with the delivery of in branch training, build effective commercial relationships, help to drive customer focused sales and tailor your support to help Postmasters and their teams move from good to great during their early months. 


This really is a great opportunity to support our Postmasters in being a crucial part of their communities whilst working as part of a sustainable and profitable business. Due to the travel required for the role you will need a full driving license.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a proven track record of strong relationship building skills within a retail environment. In addition you will possess:

 

  • Experience in operational management within retail, ideally multi-site
  • Commercially oriented with a good business acumen
  • Passion for great Customer Service and a desire to drive excellence
  • A full driving license
  • Experience working with a Franchised business model would be for benefit
  • Excellent knowledge of retail design, processes, drivers and disciplines
