Buckinghamshire,Oxfordshire, and Berkshire West Integrated Care Board (BOB ICB) is seeking toappoint a Head of Acute FinanceBusiness Partnering.
You will need to be a CCAB qualified accountant with considerable postqualification experience at a senior level with extensive knowledge of the NHSfinancial regime and experience of national tariffs, assessing value for moneyopportunities and evaluating transformation projects.
Main duties of the job
You willbe responsible for providing the ICB with a professional financial management serviceensuring that financial information is produced and reported in accordance withthe ICB requirements for both planning and performance management purposes. You will also ensure that budgets are set inaccordance with the ICB requirements, and that all decisions on changes toservice provision within the ICB are made in the full knowledge of both thelong and short term financial consequences.

Job responsibilities
Thepostholder will be responsible for providing the ICB with a professionalfinancial management service ensuring that financial information is producedand reported in accordance with the ICB requirements for both planning andperformance management purposes.
Thepostholder will be responsible for ensuring that budgets are set in accordancewith the ICB requirements. They will ensure that all decisions on changes toservice provision within the ICB are made in the full knowledge of both thelong and short term financial consequences.
The postholderwill be responsible for a designated range of services. Providing overallprofessional leadership and management to all aspects of the services and thedelegated allocations.
The post holder is responsible for the management and co-ordination ofteam resources to produce accurate, complete and timely periodic internal andexternal financial reports and monitoring returns. The post holder isresponsible for the presentation of this information and the provision ofeffective and pertinent analysis of the financial reports to support the seniorfinance team in effectively identifying and managing risk and deliveringfinancial performance objectives.
As a direct reportto the Associate Director of Management Accounts and Business Partnering thepost holder will be required to arrange and control their own workload as wellas the staff within the department and is expected to operate with a highdegree of autonomy and demonstrate senior professional experience and standards.

Extensive knowledge of NHS financial regime, acquired through equivalent experience or training. Experience of national tariffs, assessing value for money opportunities and evaluating transformation projects. Subject matter expertise across several key areas relating to corporate performance reporting and monitoring. Evidenced continuous professional development record.

To include ability to quickly analyse data using pivot tables and interact with databases to pull out key data. Excellent customer service skills.
