About the role: Hybrid working - Permanent and 12 month Fixed-term

At the heart of the Demand Planner role is hitting key KPIs (ATP, purge, fulfilment) for your product range. You'll manage supplier performance, collaborate with the Ocado Retail trading team, and enhance our supply management systems. As our business evolves, you'll be encouraged to develop new skills and innovative practices. Work closely with peers and management to tackle exciting new challenges and drive our success forward. You will be:

As a Demand Planner, you could be part of the Ocado Logistics or Morrisons team based at our Head office in Hatfield. You'll own the demand and forecast planning for over 2,500 products, using data to meet KPI targets for availability, waste reduction, and customer fulfilment. You'll build strong relationships with suppliers, manage performance through reviews and SLA management, and optimise delivery efficiency. Engage suppliers in collaborative planning, analyse trends, and motivate your team with enthusiasm and integrity. Be an ambassador, upholding our values and taking on additional tasks as needed.

About you:

As a Demand Planner, you'll need experience in demand forecasting, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong planning and organisational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. You must thrive in a KPI-driven environment, maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines under pressure. Strong analytical skills, a technical mindset, and the ability to interpret numerical data are crucial. You'll need to influence effectively, build constructive relationships, and adapt to rapid change with enthusiasm and resourcefulness. Being a proactive team player who is approachable and willing to share knowledge is essential. You'll also need to be a confident decision-maker who can work independently and occasionally on weekends. Preferred skills include business acumen,and a background in FMCG or e-commerce supply chain environments. Strong teamwork, problem-solving, communication, productivity, customer focus, technical expertise, business awareness, adaptability, analytical thinking, and persuasive influencing are key business competencies for this role.
