Are you a passionate History teacher ready for a new role? Our client school in Durham is on the lookout for a dedicated educator to join their team immediately. Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a Fully Qualified Teacher (FQT), we’d love to hear from you
Position: History Teacher
- Pay: £162.31 to £251.71 per day (to scale)
- Contract: Full-Time
- Start Date: ASAP
Our school is conveniently located in Durham with access via the A1/A1(M) and A68. Public transport links from surrounding areas in the North East also make commuting easy.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of the national History curriculum
- Effective classroom management skills
- Child-Only DBS registered on the update service (or willingness to apply, and we can assist)
- Two recent professional references
Role Responsibilities:
- Teach History to KS3 and KS4 students across a range of abilities
- Plan, deliver, and mark engaging lessons tailored to student needs

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
