Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate RE Teacher to join our team at an outstanding secondary school in Durham.

Position: RE Teacher

Pay: £162.31 to £251.71 per day

Contract: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Teach RE to students for KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, deliver, and mark lessons for different learning levels.
  • Help students understand and appreciate religious diversity.
  • Engage in a variety of extracurricular activities.

Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of the national RE curriculum.
  • Desirable experience in History and Geography.
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Two professional references from recent employment
