HR Manager - UK
As the first Human Resources employee in Europe, this individual must be a strong self-starter with a growth mindset. This role will partner directly with cross-functional teams to support the stores across the UK. This role will involve building out the Retail People processes, policies, and compliance across the UK market, as well as support the strategic talent growth.
Job Duties:
Provide support, thought partnership and coaching to management and employees on human resources related matters, policies & procedures, and employment lawConduct investigations into complex employee relations issues and partner with business leaders on resolutionsAssist in queries from employees and work with the HR team to support processes of the entire employee lifecycleDevelop strong cross-functional partnerships with leaders to become the trusted business partner across the retail spacePartner with Legal counsel to roll out Retail Handbooks, policies and procedure to ensure compliance with employment laws Launch North American HR initiatives and programs across European stores to ensure consistency across the organizationSupport local recruitment efforts for all levels and build tools for future effectivenessDevelop HR programs (Benefits, Leave Administration, Health & Safety, Payroll, etc) aligned with company culture and local legislationAssist with professional development programs, talent assessment tools and administer performance reviewsSupport & develop an HR team that provides world class partnershipKey Behaviors & Attributes:

Knowledge of employment law across the UK; across European countries is a plusPrevious work experience in Retail and with a Global company; experience with multi European countries is a plusPrevious experience managing a team 5 – 7 years HR Manager and/or Business Partner experienceExperience supporting hourly employee client groupsExperience in retail or high-volume field facing environmentsProficiency with SharePoint, ADP, Cornerstone, Greenhouse, Microsoft office systems a plus Please review our company California Job Applicant Privacy Policy .-
