Job summary
Anopportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible Managerfor our Reception Care Navigation Team to join our successful and busy GPpractice on a full-time basis. This is a Senior position within our practice,and you will be a member of the Management Support Team who work closely withand support our Managing Partner and the Deputy Manager.
This is a full time role requiring a flexible approach to your working day, and hours to ensure full support is provided to the RCN Team. Please ensure you live close enough to warrant applying for this role.
Main duties of the job
You will haveoverall responsibility for the RCN Team (Reception Care Navigator Team)
You will workclosely with the Managing Partner, the Deputy Manager, the Management Support Team and ourGP Partners.
You will guideand support our Senior Reception Care Navigators.
You will overseeour RCN including full involvement with recruitment, training, appraisals andany other HR matters as required by the Management Support Team.
You will maintainthe RCN staff rotas ensuring an adequate daily provision of cover at all timesand arrange additional hours where required.
You willcoordinate and monitor your teams overtime, annual leave and absences.
You will ensure yourRCN team are professional and presentable at all times.
You will ensure yourRCN team are aware of, and follow procedures, protocols and strictconfidentiality at all times.
You will ensure yourRCN team manage all clinical tasks such as:
- triaging and scheduling appointmentsto the appropriate clinical resource;
- the processing of prescriptions timelyand accurately,
- new patient registrations, data entry,
- fully engage and support with seasonal healthcampaigns
-work closely with our inhouse Pharmacy, our CareHomes and all other external professionals who contact or attend the surgery.

We currentlyhave 15140 registered patients and operate from a purpose-built premises basedin a quiet suburb of Fleet, Hampshire.
We are a GMS Practicewith 4 full time GP Partners, a Managing Partner and Deputy Practice Manager,Physician Associates, regular Locum GPs, Care Coordinators, Care Navigators,full admin team, nursing team of senior nurses and HCAs, MSK practitioners andMental Health Support workers.

All our teams both clinical andadmin are supportive, friendly and work very closely together to ensure theprovision of excellent service to our patients.
