The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Care Manager to join our team at Elliott House in Fleet, Hampshire. As a Residential Care Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to a team of care workers, ensuring the highest level of care and support to our service users. You will be expected to work closely with the management team to develop and implement care plans, monitor progress, and make recommendations for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leading a team of care workers to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions.
- Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with the management team and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintaining accurate records and reports, including incident reports, risk assessments, and medication administration records.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, including the Care Act 2014 and the Health and Social Care Act 2008.
- Participating in staff recruitment, induction, and training, including identifying training needs and developing training programs.
Requirements:
This role requires a qualified and experienced Residential Care Manager who can demonstrate exceptional leadership and management skills. You must have a strong understanding of adult social care legislation, regulations, and guidelines, as well as experience in managing complex care environments. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including service users, families, and external agencies. Relevant qualifications, such as the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services, are essential.
