This is a newly created role that presents a fantastic opportunity to drive significant improvements for Serco. Join our international business as a P2P FM Process Manager, part of the global Purchase to Pay (P2P) team. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring financial controls, accounting, and reporting activities are in accordance with company policy, performance, and quality standards.

As the P2P FM Process Manager, you will have a role that’s hands on and will influence real change. With your driven approach and desire to make a positive impact, you will implement new technologies and processes enabling activities.

As part of this you’ll:

Process and Controls Improvement: Lead the development and implementation of global P2P objectives, acting as the lead on FM related processes. IT Initiatives: Oversee new IT initiatives from a P2P controls perspective, ensuring seamless integration across business and finance communities. Documentation and Controls: Ensure processes and associated controls are documented, up-to-date, approved, and exceptions tracked. Support the Group controls program requirements and strengthen the control framework. Service Delivery: Ensure the effective operation of the P2P FM process, liaising with Procurement/divisions/BUs as necessary, monitoring progress, and resolving issues in real-time. Training and Documentation: Identify training gaps, produce training documentation, and maintain updated process documentation.


What you’ll need to do the role:

Demonstrable experience in process ownership and facilities management. End-to-end knowledge of P2P processes and FM systems. Experience in leading finance or business change projects. Strong passion for systems, with an understanding of and application within P2P processes (SAP knowledge highly desirable). Leadership capabilities and personal gravitas. Evidence of building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external customers and key business stakeholders, preferably across multicultural teams. Ability to influence key decision-makers and operational team members. Adaptable, enthusiastic, and a continuous learner. Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong project management skills including reporting and risk management.
