Serco spends approximately £1.6bn globally with third party suppliers every year. Procurement supports the business by understanding business requirements and providing innovative solutions from the supply market throughout the business lifecycle that reduce cost, improve service and quality, and protect the business from risk. Procurement is responsible for managing all third-party supplier arrangements including sourcing and contracting and supplier and contract management to deliver competitive advantage to Serco.

We are looking for a P2P Improvement Specialist to join the team and provide support with identifying, evaluating, and delivering improvements and changes to P2P processes and systems.

You will also assist with developing and managing a pipeline of change projects and in delivering the projects that will optimise and improve P2P performance.

**As part of this you will**:

- Contribute to work to develop business cases for change/improvement projects led by the P2P Leadership team
- Work with the Capability Manager to test and validate process improvement opportunities from a user perspective
- Help prepare inputs to the P2P Process Improvement Forum which supports efforts to evaluate and prioritise projects based on their risk, impact, urgency, and resource availability.
- Manage delivery of process improvement projects initiated by the PLT/P2P Leadership Team and provide reporting on the progress of all of Procurement continuous improvement initiatives
- Support projects to integrate new contracts into the Serco P2P environment (and to exit contracts where required)
- Comply with and manage compliance to Serco Procurement Policy, Standards and Standard Operating Procedures and act within limits of delegated authority

**What you will need to do the role**
- Ideally you will have at least 2 years’ experience of working within a complex Procurement or Finance environment as a P2P Specialist or similar
- Experience using SAP or ServiceNow is essential
- Experience in delivering Process Improvement Projects
- Possesses business acumen, able to understand business needs and drivers and identify ways in which procurement can address them
- Analytical mindset to encourage and seek innovative ways of working
- Possesses excellent communication skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels
