Logistics Analyst Job Description

Parkside Office Professional is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing our logistics processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and interpret data related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to identify areas for improvement.
  • Dashboard Development: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTD) and average delivery lead time (ADL).
  • Reconciliation and Shipping Oversight: Collaborate with the finance department to reconcile sales volumes, accruals, and transport costs at the end of each month, and oversee the inbound and outbound shipping process.
  • Process Improvement: Monitor and evaluate incident logs to identify root causes and implement process improvements as needed.
  • Supplier Management: Liaise with third-party logistics suppliers, leading weekly operations calls and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Inventory Management: Govern inventory and material movements in SAP, ensuring timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Logistics Knowledge: Excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
