Logistics Analyst Job Description

Parkside Office Professional is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing logistics processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and interpret data related to transportation, warehousing, and inventory management to identify areas for improvement.
  • Dashboard Development: Create and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery (OTD) and average delivery lead time (ADL).
  • Reconciliation and Shipping: Oversee the inbound and outbound shipping process, ensuring timely completion and accuracy.
  • Incident Log Management: Monitor and evaluate incident logs to identify root causes and implement process improvements.
  • Supplier Management: Liaise with third-party logistics suppliers, leading weekly operations calls and quarterly business reviews (QBRs).
  • Inventory Management: Govern inventory and material movements in SAP, ensuring timely completion and compliance with industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
  • Logistics and Supply Chain Knowledge: Excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience using SAP or similar systems.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to ensure compliance with industry and company standards.
