Our Radiology department currently have an opportunity for a Radiography Assistant. Continue your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best.

We are a small and beautifully formed team of 12 staff consisting of Radiographers, Radiology Assistants and Admin staff. We take pride in providing an excellent service, caring for all our visitors and adapting to the needs of the department and supporting each other.

Join our department and become a member of our lovely team.

As a Radiography Assistant, you will:

  • Assist qualified staff during radiological and ultrasound procedures.

  • Prepare the examination room prior to radiological/ultrasound procedures.

  • Act as chaperone during examinations.

  • Receive, admit and prepare patients for examination.

  • Be trained to cannulate patients so they are ready for their examinations

  • Provide general administration assistance including the collation, distribution and filing of diagnostic imaging reports and films.


As a Radiography Assistant, you will have:

  • Good communication skills and customer service awareness.

  • Basic IT skills.

  • Administration/organisational skills.

  • Experience within a work environment, preferably within a customer focused / people focused setting.

  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification.
