RoleOverview:

ThemisRecruit are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable FamilySolicitor/Legal Executive to handle a diverse caseload involvingboth private and legal aid family matters. The ideal candidate willhave substantial experience in family law particularly in areassuch as divorce child custody domestic violence and financialsettlements. Proficiency in advocacy and the ability to representclients effectively in court are highlydesirable.

RequirementsKeyResponsibilities
  • CaseManagement: Manage a varied caseload of family lawmatters including both private client and legal aidcases.
  • ClientRepresentation: Provide highquality legal advice andrepresentation to clients in all aspects of familylaw.
  • Advocacy:Conduct advocacy in Family Court representing clients in hearingsand trials.
  • LegalDocumentation: Draft and review legal documents includingpleadings witness statements and courtorders.
  • ClientLiaison: Maintain strong client relationships ensuringclear communication and understanding of their legalissues.
  • Legal AidWork: Demonstrate thorough knowledge and experience withlegal aid family work including compliance with legal aidregulations andprocedures.
  • HybridWorking: Utilize the firm s hybrid working model toeffectively manage workload between officebased and remoteworking.
  • ProfessionalDevelopment: Engage in continuous professionaldevelopment to stay current with changes in family law and legalpractices.
  • TeamCollaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues andsupport staff to ensure a seamless service delivery toclients.
QualificationsandExperience
  • QualifiedSolicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with a minimum of 3 yearsPQE (PostQualified Experience) in familylaw.
  • Demonstrable experience inhandling both private and legal aid family lawcases.
  • Strong advocacy skills with aproven track record of representing clients in FamilyCourt.
  • Excellent understanding oflegal aid processes andrequirements.
  • Exceptionalcommunication and interpersonal skills with a clientfocusedapproach.
  • Ability to workindependently and manage a busy caseloadefficiently.
  • Commitment tomaintaining the highest standards of professional integrity andethics.
