Seeking candidates interested in working in the recycling and environmental sustainability industry. These positions are responsible for supporting the administration of Export documentation. Working in Long Marston, the successful candidates will be part of a team, working under the supervision of a knowledgeable and supportive Shipping and Export Manager.
This is a hybrid role with flexible working opportunities (ideally 3 days WFH, 2 days in the office).
2x roles - 1x 6 month Fixed Term Contract and 1x 12 month Fixed Term Contract
Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate export documentation and invoices to enable timely payment from customers Provide general administration/secretarial support services to Export Managers including liaison with shipping agents, export depots, banks etc. Telephone liaison with overseas sales offices & foreign customers as necessary Credit control including producing statements and chasing customers or their bankers for payments as necessary Production of export documents and sales invoices Assisting the Export Manager and relevant commercial and site managers in invoicing customers, ensuring receipt of payment, including chasing them or their bankers for payments if necessary Updating spreadsheets with the accurate information Liaise with Sims sites for the timely planning of export loads Plan and action container bookings with ocean carriers and freight forwarders Process freight invoicesKey Skills/Competencies
Exceptional organisational skills High level of attention to detail and accuracy Excellent interpersonal skills Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable Integrity and confidentiality Strong written and verbal communication skillsQualifications
