**Job Title**: Production Administrator
**Location**: Brunswick Industrial Estate, Newcastle Upon Tyne
**Salary**:24k per year, negotiable, part time available
**Job Type**: Full-Time or Part Time, Permanent, Day shift.
**About us**:
Oiltech Bearings manufacturers and repair whitemetal lined bearings for industrial rotating equipment. We supply global blue-chip companies and service companies with made to order, precision mechanical parts which are critical elements of industrial rotating machines. We export to several countries. We are a small team and this role is to support the business with production, logistics and administration.
**The role & responsibilities**:
- Purchasing materials from ERP system
- Monitoring supplier deliveries and booking materials into ERP system
- Logging enquiries in erp system
- Ordering fasteners, tooling, consumables
- Booking couriers and logistics
- Printing shopfloor documents and drawings
- Preparing, creating, and sending inspection reports
- Raising purchase orders for subcontract machining
- Customer expediting
- Processing sales and suppliers’ invoices
- Maintaining time and attendance data
- Process monthly pay runs
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliation
- Preparing export declarations, EUR1, commercial invoices
- Ordering shipping crates and packaging materials as required.
- Answering incoming calls
- Research and find service providers/solutions to deal with business systems.
**About you**:
- Relevant experience working within a manufacturing/production environment.
- Able to manage data accurately, part numbers, references and excel data sheets.
- Experience with an ERP/MRP system
- Be confident and competent using computers and systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel and ERP systems.
- Able to solve problems and find solutions when nothing has been previously organised or set up.
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail.
- Confident and able to work independently but ask when unsure.
- Good time-management and organisational skills
- Ability to manage workload to deadlines.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Team player with great interpersonal and communications skills
**Benefits**:
