Quality Control Advisor

To ensure that all servicing, maintenance, repairs and rebuilding of equipment owned or managed by the Company is carried out in a safe, efficient and economical manner in full accordance with Company procedures.
Key Responsibilities- To ensure all company documentation is reviewed and accurate prior to equipment mobilising.
- Inspects and approves incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Checks equipment requirements against paperwork, conducting visual and measurement tests when required.
- Assist with forklift and mobile crane operations in yard.
- Ensure yard area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Assist in loading/offloading of equipment.
- Inspection and evaluation of returning and outgoing equipment and report issues.
- Assist with the maintenance of QC records.
- Updating ERP system with on/off hire dates.
- PDI of all outgoing equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working area.
- Ensure compliance with defined health and safety policies/procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with defined environmental policies and procedures and identify any areas for improvement.
- Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is used in accordance with Company health and safety policies.
- Any other reasonably delegated responsibilities as instructed by Line Management within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements.
- Any other duties as required.
- Previous experience of goods in/goods out environment
- Driving license
- Forklift license
- Recognised Banksman / Slinging certificate
- Great communication skills

- Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
