Job summary

We are looking for an exceptional Chief Nurse to lead our Nursing and AHP workforce and to drive innovative, safe and compassionate care, across a myriad of different geographical and clinical settings. You will work as part of a highly experienced and innovative executive team. You will also work with leaders from a range of professional backgrounds and together with them and service users, commissioners and Divisional and Board colleagues, you will translate the Board Vision and the vision set out in the Trust Strategy into practical reality. Integrating physical and mental health care, in partnership with other health and care partners, local where possible, and specialist, where needed, care partnership - with patients, families, communities, primary care, acute partners, is critical. You will be highly skilled in driving collaboration and partnerships.

Role Summary:The post holder will lead the Nursing, AHP and Support workforce (pre and post registration).They will ensure the training, support and standards that are necessary to deliver safe, effective care. They will also be responsible for ensuring that ICT throughout the organisation, is delivered in ways that optimise mobile working and digital innovation, to release more time to care.
