Role : Supported Living Service Manager

Salary : Up to £45,000 per annum

Service : Upper Park Road, Camberley

Your Service

Our supported living service in Camberley offers the privacy and independence of private flats with support always on-hand to help with daily living, home maintenance or working towards their own personal goals. Each flat is decorated by the person living there, with special care to consider any sensory needs or preferences, and the team are here to make sure they’re comfortable and happy in their home.

The team are happy to help with cooking, financial management, cleaning and other life skills – but are also always excited to help someone learn a new hobby or skill. Nearby, there’s plenty to do with bowling, cinemas, shopping and swimming pools all close by.

Your Role

From ensuring the service runs smoothly and achieves quality excellence, to encouraging personal growth & development of the team – every day is unique. Through leadership and support, our Service Managers make a difference to their colleagues’ lives and the people we support – and are an integral part of ensuring everyone at Consensus has the opportunity to flourish.

Enable the people we support to lead a fulfilling life and to maximise their independence to enable them to achieve their full potential. Ensure the wellbeing of the team is prioritised, and that they are given the appropriate tools and opportunities to excel in their current role and future career. Ensure the service is run in an efficient and responsible manner, balancing the achievement of budget with the ethos of excellent quality. Effectively manage financial performance, with financial resources appropriately managed & controlled. Promote quality assurance, working towards legal, clinical, statutory, and organisational obligations, to develop effective work strategies and processes, ensuring that the business is run in an efficient and responsible manner. Ensure full and accurate reporting of management information, maximising quality and compliance. The role requires you to be registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

Have plenty of experience working with those with Learning Disabilities or complex behaviours Be an experienced Service Manager looking for a new challenge – with a background in Supported Living or Residential Services. Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care – support and training towards Level 4 and 5 is available. Bring strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills. Be confident, flexible and efficient – you’re happy to work on a shift basis and, where required, be on call. Above all, you’ll be committed to providing person-centred care that provides equitable opportunities to all of those you’re working for.
