Fire Doors Operations Manager - Risley

Marlowe Fire & Security are the fastest growing fire & security business in the UK. From initial design, supply and installation, through to ongoing maintenance and monitoring, we maintain the capability to help prevent, detect and monitor Fire and Security risks for our customers up and down the country. We are currently looking to appoint a new Fire Doors Operations Manager based out of our offices in Risley, Derbyshire.

Basic Salary – £50-55,000 per annum

Vehicle / Vehicle Allowance – subject to candidate preference. Circa £525 per annum

Marlowe Fire & Security’s Fire Doors Operations Manager’s

Are responsible for the delivery and growth of the fire door inspection, service and installation stream including commercial management and operational delivery. Responsibilities will include the development of internal self-delivery of fire door solutions primarily through the growth of an internal delivery team and recruitment of suitable resources and external supply chain to help deliver on nationwide requirements.

Maintain appropriate accreditations to FIRAS and LPCB. Implement suitable internal and external engineer training and competence programmes to support fire door inspection, maintenance and installation services. Provide technical support and guidance to the team as and when required, assisting with specifications, proposals and providing advice to sales and operations teams Work with sales and marketing to develop suitable value propositions and lead generation in passive fire protection works. Recruit and manage sufficient internal and external resources to support passive fire protection demands from our existing customer base Assist and develop market pricing policy for the individual services, tender submissions, and quotation professionalism Work alongside the operations teams in Risley to assist with compliance across the engineering team. Manage the profit centre of the Fire Door Department, ensuring maximum utilisation of internal resources Assist division wide with implemented changes in standards, legislation and provide technical support on all areas of Fire Doors when required. Ensure environmental and health and safety compliance across all the passive fire department activities

Proven experience as a Fire Doors Operations Manager or similar role Extensive knowledge of fire doors regulations, standards, and installation techniques Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite Professionalism, energy and drive to succeed Ability to manage and motivate a large and growing team, that is scalable to deliver on growth aspirations To be comfortable in the preparation and management of budgets Hold the necessary qualifications to demonstrate competency and industry leading knowledge for the role Excellent communication, IT, organisational and presentation skills Attention to detail Demonstrate drive, creativity and flexibility with a friendly personality Valid driver's license
