We have a new opportunity for a Depute Principal Assessor in N5 Design & Manufacture - Assignment.
The Depute Principal Assessor (DPA) role must be able to deputise for the PA in all aspects of the role if required. Applicants should currently be involved in the delivery and assessment of N5 Design & Manufacture.
A DPA is responsible for supporting the Principal Assessor in maintaining national standards for the qualifications within their remit by ensuring that all tasks associated with quality assurance are carried out within the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by SQA.
Should an applicant require release from their employer, they should discuss this before making an application as the successful applicant may require up to 8 days of release. This could be negotiable/variable based on procedural programme. Applicants will also be required to undertake work in their own time (evenings/weekends) to fulfil the duties of this post.
This role attracts a responsibility fee paid quarterly as well as release fees and a daily rate for duties undertaken in own time.
Interviews for successful applicants will be held via MS Teams week beginning Monday 24 June 2024.
