Job Opportunity: Depute Principal Verifier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Depute Principal Verifier to join our team at the Scottish Qualifications Authority.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Principal Verifier to maintain national standards for units within their remit.
  • Ensure that all tasks associated with quality assurance of internal assessments are carried out within specified conditions, timescales, and arrangements.
  • Assist the Principal Verifier in managing team members to deliver external quality assurance for Practical Cake Craft.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality assurance strategies.

Requirements:

  • Experience in quality assurance and verification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work up to 5 days release in the full contract period.
