We have a new opportunity for a Depute Principal Verifier in Practical Cake Craft. Ideally, applicants will have experience in the quality assurance model for verification. 

A Depute Principal Verifier works with the Principal Verifier to communicate and maintain national standards for the units within their remit. The Depute Principal Verifier must ensure that all tasks associated with the quality assurance of internal assessments are carried out within the conditions, timescales and arrangements set by SQA.

The role will assist the Principal Verifier in managing team members in the delivery of external quality assurance for Practical Cake Craft to ensure that national standards are maintained. This is essentially carried out during verification activity, typically during February to May.

Depute Principal Verifiers will normally require up to 5 days release in the full contract period and will also be required to undertake duties in their own time.

This role attracts a responsibility fee as well as release compensation as required and a daily rate for duties undertaken in own time. 

Interviews for successful applicants will be held via MS Teams.
