Sensient Colors UK Ltd based in Kings Lynn, Norfolk are looking for an experienced shipping administrator to join our customer services team. The Customer Services/Shipping Administrator is responsible for managing the outbound orders, liaising with freight forwarders, understanding and providing the required shipping & freight documentation, knowing and following import/export regulations and ensuring all system transactions are processed.

What you will do:

Build, consolidate and configure shipments, within established guidelines to ensure timely service and cost effectiveness for efficient service to customers. Utilize the consolidation report to minimize loads to affiliates, LTL’s, FTL and containers. Verification of orders to be shipped, drawing up all the documents necessary for the smooth running of the transport process; customs documentation etc and to monitor daily shipments to ensure that they are completed. Perform a variety of customer service transactions, reviewing open order reports, order entry and processing, working with other departments to ensure fulfilment of customer orders and problem resolution. Investigation of customer complaints.

What you will bring: 

Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to capture the detail of a situation & communicate accurately & professionally. Intermediate to advanced knowledge in all Microsoft office systems (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).  NVQ Level 2 or college diploma - Business / Commercial Customer service and shipping documentation experience (UK, Export, Customs). IMDG & IATA Training/Certification preferred.
