Role Summary:

As the Director of Estates and Facilities (E&F), you will hold acritical executive position accountable for the strategic oversight andoperational leadership of the Trusts s E&F services. This role ensuresall facilities are safe, compliant, and aligned with the clinical needs of theTrust.

Your skills and expertise will guide the future quality of the estateand the integration of best practices, ensuring that the built environment issafe for patients, visitors, and staff, is managed effectively and efficientlyand adapts to changing healthcare needs.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic E&F Leadership and management advice to the Chief Executive and Trust Executive Management Team Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive E&F, Estates, Sustainability, Health & Safety, and Security strategies Oversee significant strategic, capital, and operational projects, including SLA/EFM contracts with partner providers Foster strategic partnerships with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council and system partners to enhance service delivery Uphold and drive regulatory standards and compliance with national policies, creating a co-production culture with clinical teams and service users

Role Requirements

Masters level qualification or equivalent experience in a technical or E&F discipline Proven leadership within large facilities management, overseeing budgets up to £19m and 230 wte staff Experience managing teams across multiple disciplines including Security, Cleaning, Catering, Waste Management, and more Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging a wide array of stakeholders from Trust Board members to external partners
