**Permanent, Full time, 37 hours per week.**

We are looking to recruit a Housing Fraud Officer to join the Housing Service. This is an excellent time to join the service, which is continuing its journey of service transformation and change, reflecting the requirements of the new Social Housing regulatory framework and with a continuous focus on delivering the highest quality services to our tenants.

As Housing Fraud Officer, you will be part of a diverse and complex service, operating in a dynamic multi-agency and partnership working environment. This is an exciting and critical role, based within the housing and estate management service, but reaching across all aspects of the business. You will be at the very heart of our work to combat tenancy fraud, both strategically and operationally, leading on the development of policy and professional practice, as well as housing fraud case management.

A demonstrable understanding of the nature and scope of Housing fraud and relevant legislation and best practice.

Significant experience of work in a housing related role, including demonstrable experience of effective case management and joint working with internal and external services and partners.

Evidence of strong analytical and investigatory skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate complex information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Experience of undertaking reviews of service delivery including developing a robust evidence base for business decisions.

Demonstrable ability to identify and resolve risks and escalate as appropriate along with mitigating actions for more complex risks.

Experience of working and communicating with a broad range of stakeholders, agencies and partners in a customer facing environment.

Understanding and experience of reviewing services, developing policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and implementing associated change processes to achieve enhanced service delivery and organisational performance.
