Responsibilities

As a Cover Supervisor with Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans and manage classroom activities.
  • Maintain good order and discipline among students, safeguarding their health and safety.
  • Provide support and assistance to students with their learning as required.
  • Report back to the regular teacher on the progress and behaviour of students.
  • Assist with other administrative and support tasks as required by the school.
Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience working with young people, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • The ability to quickly adapt to different school environments and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel).
  • Proof of right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
