ABOUT THE ROLE -
A dynamic and creative B2B Social Media Communications Specialist required to transform the internal and external social feed for an industrial distributor into a sector leading engaging narrative. This role is perfect for a someone with a strong visual communications portfolio, with and a passion for creating compelling content.
The role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone that is excited about delivering content in a fun ,engaging and exciting way. Initially you will create content to support internal communications but as you grow in the role there is huge potential to support external communications channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Communications:
Collaborate with internal teams to understand business plans and strategies.
Create visually engaging content, including videos and animations, to communicate plans and generate enthusiasm among employees.
Develop and execute internal communication campaigns to foster a strong company culture and ensure employees are informed and engaged.
External Communications (Growth opportunity):
Develop and manage content for ERIKS’ external social media channels, focusing on LinkedIn but also covering, Twitter, Insta and YouTube.
Create high-quality visual content, including graphics, videos, and animations, tailored to our target B2B audience.
Stay updated on industry trends and integrate them into our social media strategy to enhance engagement and reach.
Content Creation:
Research and generate content ideas that resonate with our target audience.
Produce and publish content including videos and animations that highlight ERIKS’ capability, products, services, and success stories driving home the value proposition.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing goals.
Analyse content performance metrics and adjusting the strategy accordingly.
Site Visits and Team Engagement:
Regularly visit ERIKS sites to meet teams, gather content, and understand the work being done.
Conduct interviews and capture real-life stories that showcase our employees and their contributions to our customers success.
Ensure content is authentic and represents the diverse and innovative culture at ERIKS.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Recent graduate with a degree in Communications, Marketing, Visual Arts, or a related field or a demonstratable level of experience in a similar role
Visual Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasingexpertise in visual communications, video production, and animation.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in video editing software
Social Media Savvy: Understanding of social media platforms, particularly Viva Engage (MS Yammer), LinkedIn but also Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, and experience in creating content tailored for these channels.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas in a visually appealing manner with energy; being comfortable engaging individual or with teams across various sites.
Travel: Willingness to travel to ERIKS sites to gather content and meet teams.
Research Skills: Ability to research industry trends and create relevant content for a defined target audience.
Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
