Castolin Eutectic offers maintenance, surface protection and special joining using welding, brazing and coating technologies in different industry sectors, such as oil & gas, steel, chemical, waste & recycling, pulp & paper, glass, power generation, agriculture and mining.

The company was sold from Messer Group to Paragon Partners in 2021. With the carve out a new management structure will be established.

The purpose of this role is to ensure upkeep of the quality management system, adherence to appropriate approval standards, management of external and internal audits and maintenance of all quality documentation.

Responsible for:

Review, analyse and continually develop the Quality Management System to ensure compliance within the business. Adherence of AS9100 & NADCAP standards through the up keep of the quality management system. Responsible for the lead inspector and quality operators daily and weekly activities. Responsible for the control of internal rejects, corrective action and issue of customer complains, internal NCRs and audit findings. Development and maintenance of quality policies and procedures, ensuring quality records and adequately maintained. Management and control of overall laboratory equipment. Management of external audits, internal audits and internal auditors. Completion and implementation of corrective action. Analysis and continuous improvement of internal rejects. Analysis and continuous improvement of customer rejects. Management of supplier approvals and supplier audits.

Skills and Attributes:

Understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as well as Industry specific standards.

Ability to analyse data and performance metrics metrics to identify areas for improvement in quality 

Ability to solve problems 

Attention to detail 

Effective communication skills 

Continuous improvement mindset
