Qualifications
- RGN or RMN qualification and valid UK NMC Pin
- Proven experience working in a nursing environment, preferably in a care home or similar setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations
- Passion for providing person-centred care and improving the quality of life for older adults
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and personalised nursing and dementia care to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met
- Administer medication and maintain accurate records in accordance with established protocols
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to create and implement individual care plans
- Support and supervise care staff, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care
