YorMed Ambulance Service is seeking highly skilled and experienced medical professionals to join our team as Event Medical Staff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing medical support and emergency response services at various events throughout Yorkshire and the North-East.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical support and emergency response services at events, including administering basic life support and assessing the nature and extent of injury or illness.
- Work autonomously and in a team environment to provide medical care and support to event attendees.
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and complete necessary paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with event staff, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless event operations.
- Participate in pre-event medical equipment inventory and ensure that all necessary supplies are available and in good working order.
- Conduct post-event debriefings and provide feedback to improve future event operations.
- Current registration with a relevant professional body (e.g. GMC, NMC, HCPC).
- Valid Enhanced DBS Certificate.
- Relevant certifications and licenses (e.g. paramedic, nurse, doctor).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
