Position:

An opportunity has arisen for a permanent Senior Public Health Research Officer based at Ailsa Hospital.

What you will do:

You will lead a range of public health research and evaluation programmes, and disseminate accessible, evidence-based findings, with the aim of developing health services and improving the health and reducing health inequalities within the local population.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:

You will have a degree in a relevant subject, for examples statistics, social or natural sciences, and will bring relevant experience gained in the NHS, a research organisation or other similar body.

Hours:

37 per week

A hybrid model of working will be supported.

The post will be based at Ailsa Hospital, Ayr, but may require travel to Ayrshire Central Hospital (Irvine) or University Hospital Crosshouse (Kilmarnock).

Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

A car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
